ScrapeX ("we", "us") runs the lead generation service at scrapex.io. For the account data described below, ScrapeX is the controller. For the leads you find and the emails you send, you decide the purpose and we act for you. Contact us at info@scrapex.io.
If you connect Gmail, we store an encrypted token. We use it only to send the emails you write in ScrapeX from your own address, and to read conversations that ScrapeX started so we can show you who replied. We do not read the rest of your mailbox. ScrapeX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. People at ScrapeX do not read it unless you ask for support, it is needed for security or abuse, or the law requires it. If you ask for an AI reply suggestion, the reply and your original email are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) only to write that suggestion. You can disconnect Gmail in Settings at any time, and you can remove ScrapeX's access in your Google Account.
The business contact details in ScrapeX come from public sources: maps and directory listings, official company registers, company websites, public job posts and publicly visible business social pages. Where a business email names a person, we treat it as personal data and handle removal requests the same way. Crawling is rate-limited and respects robots rules.
We do not send you marketing email unless you ask for it, and we do not sell your account data. We email you about your account, security and billing.
Only the service providers who run ScrapeX for us, listed on our Subprocessors page (hosting, payments, Google, AI and data providers), authorities when the law requires it, and a buyer if the business is ever sold, with the same protections. Providers act on our instructions.
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, for example the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards offered by those providers.
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. In Settings, under Your data, you can download everything we hold and delete your account yourself. For anything else, email info@scrapex.io. A business or person can also ask to be removed from our lead database by emailing info@scrapex.io. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted Gmail tokens and contact details at rest, expiring sessions, logged admin actions and separate workspaces. Contact details are shown only inside your own private workspace. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep a breach plan (below).
If we confirm a security incident that puts your personal data at risk, we will tell the affected customers without undue delay and within 72 hours of confirming it, say what happened and what to do, and notify the authorities where the law requires. Report a concern to info@scrapex.io.

ScrapeX is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email or in the app.
