Subprocessors and Data Processing Agreement

Who handles data for us

ScrapeX uses these providers to run the service. Which ones are active depends on the features switched on for your account. Each acts on our instructions and is bound by its own data protection terms.

Providers

• Contabo: server hosting for the website, app and database.
• Square: card payments. Card details go straight to Square.
• Google: Gmail sign-in and sending (only if you connect Gmail), and Google Maps place data.
• OpenAI: optional AI features such as research summaries and reply suggestions. The text sent is only what the feature needs.
• Apify, ScrapeCreators and Scrapfly: public data collection for Social Intelligence. They receive the search term you enter, not your account data.
• Cloudflare: optional bot check on sign-up and DNS.
• Our email delivery provider: sends account emails such as your sign-in code.

Changes

When we add or replace a provider that handles personal data, we will update this page. Business customers on Enterprise who want advance notice can ask for it in their agreement.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

If you use ScrapeX to process personal data and need a DPA, email info@scrapex.io. A DPA is included with Enterprise and available on request for other plans, covering your instructions to us, confidentiality, security, subprocessors, help with data subject requests, breach notice and deletion at the end.
